If you take out a policy with us, you have 14 days after receiving the policy documents to read the policy wording. If the cover is not what you expected you can phone the insurer, cancel the policy and get a full refund.

Vacant Property Insurance

As the name implies, this insurance provides cover for property that is unoccupied. It is mainly used where property is undergoing modernisation but also applies to property that is being offered for sale.

This policy is exactly the same as UK holiday home insurance described below. It only cover property located anywhere in the European Union. This policy is exactly the same as UK Holiday home insurance. 

UK Holiday Home Insurance

If you own a second home or holiday home in the UK then this is the policy for you. Whether you just use the property occasionally yourself, or with family and friends, or you let your property out on a week to week basis then comprehensive cover is provided with this policy. UK.

Landlord's Buildings & Contents

These policies provide cover for property that is rented to employed professionals, students people in receipt of housing benefit and asylum seekers. Most normal home owner policies provide no cover whatsoever if you let your property. With landlord's buildings & contents insurance all standard risks are covered plus you get £1m of landlord's liability cover. Loss of rent and alternative accommodation costs are also included should your property become uninhabitable after any damage. The policy also allows you to have the property vacant for 90 days between lets.
